Home Dog Training
My dog is 2 years old and is still very deficient in the training area of the house. It's quite a nuisance, and our older dog is fine as long to go out, but the man never seemed to catch on. No amount of tricks to help solve the problem.? Any advice helps. Thank you. My dog is half poodle pug, Pekinese and fourth quarter. I know, a crazy combo (a member of the family had an accidental breeding occurs). He looks and acts more like a pug though. Well, I have the answer here. Some dogs take longer than others to catch a workout. You did not say how long you have had your 2 year old son and can make a difference. I have adopted two dogs were found together, both were about two years. They have been trained before, but both had the idea that maybe did not have the same rules as in his former home. I had to start again with them as young puppies. One took to the formation of paper quite quickly, and the other just went where he wanted for several months. Eventually both were trained. There may be several reasons, the younger one may be trying to tell you something. Or there may be a physical problem. Troubleshooting is not easy or convenient (but neither is clean inside after a dog). If you can find a way to keep them separate for a few days, even a week, you can work one on one with the dog. Can you have an older dog stay with a friend or relative during this time? Whether you can do that or not, I would try to spend more time with the younger dog and see if you can find out what is going on with him / her. If two or more dogs, one may not be receiving the care they need, even if you think you are dividing their time equally between them. Also remember that a dog two years old a year is not an adult yet. (S) is a teenager at best. Some breeds (mongrels included) take longer than others to grow into adulthood. I am not a professional obedience trainer. I worked with a lot of dogs, other than my own, and conducted research interest and love for dogs – but every time I've been confused I turn to a professional. If you really worked hand in hand with this dog of 6 months without improvement, I suggest a vet check for this problem first. If the vet does not see a problem, I search for a coach who specializes in this type of behavior problems. It should not cost an arm and a leg, a pro will have a few tricks up his sleeve. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Books on dog training
I would add some new books for my collection, mainly in the formation and behavior. I'm not a big fan of cesear millan so not only suggest books. Please titles and authors, if you can. I want the books I've read first hand and enjoy. The books I recommend to a friend. I think I found an answer. Raising and training puppies I like books by Dr. Ian Dunbar before getting your puppy after you get your puppy. For the dog, human interaction, I like Patricia O'Connell The other end of the belt. For a book in general, it's me or the dog is really very good and complete. Edit: Some recommended books represent the training techniques based on an understanding of canine behavior obsolete. For example, the ideas of the monks of New Skete were in transition between the old training techniques and modern techniques of hard positive. Be careful what you among them. My 1978 edition of How to be the best friend your dog, tells of how the discipline to crhymes as atrocious as the home of dirt, "How hard do they hit the dog? A good rule of thumb is that if you do not received an answer, a call sign or other, after the first blow was not strong enough. Remember, a good correction will save fifty. You can not harm a dog with this method, or cause irreparable damage. Your contact person should be firm. "The chapter closes with the famous, misguided" Alpha Wolf Roll-Over. "As Siegal and Margolis go, I have seen" Uncle Matty "training in person. In my opinion he is a charlatan.
Clicker for Dog Training
I bought a clicker dog training today and realized that there is no lanyard (wrist strap). I wondered if other Yahoo Answers users could tell me where I can find one that would be for a brand clicker StartMark Alick No smart answers please. Well, I have the answer here. You can pick up in stores as a teacher. You can find a office supply store as well. I'm glad you're doing clicker with your dog. I'm going to the Clicker Expo in January for a weekend of three days. Very excited to go to it. I have one of the clickers. I refer to "click", which has a soft click. I wanted to use the clicker with my client, and said that in any way. Someone at the vet was doing his dog and was to do with all the nuts on the clicks.
