I do not own a lab. I possess a german shorthair and a Braque du Bourbonnais (pointing puppies). I hunt upland birds so I made the decision on tips. But I grew up with labs. My dad hunted waterfowl a good deal and some upland. I bear in mind way again in the day my dad gave me my initial 20ga shotgun. I assume I was one of the number of 10yr olds that owned 1 and hunted. My dad grew up with labs and caught to this breed up until finally not too long ago (his final 1 died two several years back and he retired hunting and is now taking pleasure in existence with mother and traveling the entire world). In any case although checking out my mother and father in CT I discovered this old VHS tape from 1985. We watched it and although it pertains to labs I identified it quite interesting. I considered some of you w/hunting labs may well also. Its really old and a bit broken but fun to observe. It introduced back recollections of High School for me and excellent ol hunting recollections for my dad. Appreciate.
